Located two and a half hours from Toronto, this 1860 Italianate style home sits on 88-acres, bordering the Maitland River & minutes from Lake Huron, Ontario.

GUEST SHUTTLE

Please note: due to space restrictions, there will be no parking at our event venue.

We have arranged complimentary transportation for ALL guests to and from our wedding. The shuttle schedule summary (included detailed shuttle runs, with pickup times and guest names) is listed below. We will be picking up all guests from their accomodations, and ask that everyone be ready at the pickup point 5 minutes prior to the departure time so we can get everyone to the venue on time.

WEDDING ATTIRE

We’ve received some questions from guests about what to wear. So we put together a Wedding Mood Board on Pinterest to inspire you (see link below). Think summer in Italy, and don’t be afraid of bold prints and colour!

For the ladies, we highly advise against stilettos—we recco opting for a block heel, wedge or flats instead. Our venue is on a beautiful property, so we may move around on the grounds (grass fields, loose stone/pebble terrace, etc). For the gents, think light summer suits. No ties required. But we won't say "no" if you want to rock one!

WEDDING DAY ARRIVAL

Our ceremony will commence at 5:20pm sharp, and we are asking everyone to arrive between 4:45pm - 5:00pm. If you are planning to arrive to the Goderich area on Friday (the date of our wedding), we suggest you budget at least 3 hours for your commute from the Greater Toronto Area.

OUR STORY

Our love story begins with a thumb-swipe on a dating app. We found each other at moments of deep personal life transition.

What began as a chance rendezvous arranged by the relationship-algorithm-gods, blossomed into a long-distance pen pal relationship. The sense that our connection was something different was validated when we finally met in person. Three years later—through lightness and in darkness—we have forged a love that is pure and deep and true.

The vision for our wedding is to curate an evening that weaves in tiny, meaningful moments from our relationship journey. Our hope is that this occasion brings us all closer and leaves us with new memories for us to hold in communion for years to come.
